Today's course leads us through Santiago de Compostela, a famous pilgrimage destination and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and then to the most westerly point of Spain.

Wow what a day, the best Stage so far, full of surprises. The Vuelta organisers called this the "leg-breaker" day, and it certainly was an apt description.
