Sure, governments can make big changes to the world’s emissions and pollution levels. But there’s a lot we, as individuals, can do, too – without moving to the country, wearing sacks and growing our own food. In fact, it makes more sense to do what we can in an urban environment because more than half the world’s people live in cities, since 2010 – and it’s estimated that this figure will rise to 70 per cent by 2050.
