Keith’s Journal

I have finally completed all the Stages, and all the kilometres, plus a few extra. As usual, there haven’t been enough hours in the day, or energy in the body, to get my daily post completed on time, so I am now writing this from home in Switzerland two days after the Final Stage. And once I unpack the car I’ll get around to writing a full post and catching up on all the others too. Sorry!

Sure, governments can make big changes to the world’s emissions and pollution levels. But there’s a lot we, as individuals, can do, too – without moving to the country, wearing sacks and growing our own food. In fact, it makes more sense to do what we can in an urban environment because more than half the world’s people live in cities, since 2010 – and it’s estimated that this figure will rise to 70 per cent by 2050.
